‘Second Life’ coming to mobile devices?
There has been talk that the poplar virtual world Second Life might be popping up on mobile devices in the near future. With technology getting better each day it is just a matter of time that something as popular as Second life would make it to mobile devices. iPhones and other complex P.D.A might have the capability to handle the graphic intense game. A company called Vollee is planning to release technology for the game to run on 3G networks.
I enjoy the fact that people are pushing technology to new lengths everyday, but the need for Second Life on a mobile phone is a little unnecessary for my taste. I am not a big fan of Second Life to begin with and now having people access SL on their mobile phones just seems too much for me.

I had the same article :). I think it’d be interesting to see it happen, but I’m not sure on how useful it’ll be. I mean it’ll be easier for sure, but in terms of productivity…I guess it depends on the user.

Personaly I feel that SL is nothing more than a fantasy world for adolescents and people with too much time on their hands. That being said i can’t imagine why resources would be spent on such a venture.
