3M and You Tube have partern on a contest called One Million Uses for post-it notes. The basic rules are as follows:

There are a million uses for Post-it® Notes and counting…Self-reminding, planning and brainstorming - to list just a few. But we also know that the uses for Post-it® Notes are as unique as the people who love them. That’s why we want to know more. FROM YOU!
Send us your one-in-a-million idea and WOW us with a use we haven’t thought of. If your video is chosen, you could win up to $10,000 cash and a laptop computer (up to $1,000 value). Your video may also be used as online advertising.
The contest stated in March and the submission period goes until September 1st. Current submissions can be found at You Tube. The Post it has really shocked me in it’s uses and creativity. Besides wanting to buy stock in 3M, I think they’ve cleverly taking a commidity and found a way to make users think of it in a different way.
I think it would be pretty neat to take video of the the Betsy Ross flag that Jackie posted about. Just to see how people go about collaborting to create it. I’ve begun to think of a few ideas, if anyone’s interesting in getting involved, let me know.
